On 1st of Dezember the Polish, Bulgarian and the Italian people arrived in Germany. The Exchange Students got to know their Host families and spend the night there. The next morning the exchange students went to school with their hosts, to get to know the German school and how the german students spent their day in school. Before the scottish people arrived, all the students went to the Christmas market down town. At aroound 4 pm the scottish people arrived and we started working on the project.
After we finished the plan for our project some of the students met and played some games.
The 3rd of December started with project work at school , we started working on our PowerPoint presentations which were meant to be taken home by the exchange students to show the plan for the next three year. After we finished the PowerPoint presentation we started working on the logo for the Erasmus project which is going to be on the pullover and backpacks over the next three years.
Then we did a guided city tour through Gifhorn. The tour was guided by two of the students. We also met the mayor of Gifhorn who gave us some books about our city, aswell he welcomed us nicely and he was very happy about the project. In the evening the students met in the Jump Xl in Brunswick, there they spent their evening..
Wednesday started with presenting a few PowerPoints created by German students. Right after, we took the train to Wolfsburg where we had some freetime to discover the Autostadt. We were amazed by the interesting historical timeline of the car and had a great sightseeing in Wolfsburg. In the evening, the whole group met at L´Osteria to have a delicious Italian dinner sponsored by the Erasmus+ Project.
Thursday was the day of our big journey. By train we went to Berlin where we first visited the Futurium. Just like in the Autostadt, we learned a lot and we even started a fotography competition. Discovering the city of Berlin was also part of the trip. After having dinner at the hostel, we worked on the group logo. Besides all the working, don´t forget about the great evening program with our nightwalk to the Brandenburger Tor.
Friday - last full day of this wonderful week, but not less filled than the others! After having breakfast and checking out at the hostel, we already had to say goodbye to our Polish friends who went straight home from Berlin.
